BRAVEHEART WEEKEND
This quote from John Eldredge's best-selling book, "Wild at Heart" led Jeff McCormick to begin this popular weekend for men and boys:
"Walk into most churches in America, have a look around, and ask yourself this question: What is a Christian man? Don't listen to what is said, look at what you find there. There is no doubt about it. You'd have to admit a Christian man is...bored.
The church wags its head and wonders why it can't get more men to sign up for its programs. The answer is simply this: We have not invited a man to know and live from his deep heart. God meant something when he meant man, and if we are to ever find ourselves we must find that. What has he set in the masculine heart? Instead of asking what you think you ought to do to become a better man, I want to ask, What makes you come alive? What stirs your heart?"

Each Winter/Spring we schedule ministry sponsored Braveheart Weekends at a South Georgia Camp. These weekends are designed for approximately 20 men. (You may also request Jeff to come and lead an exclusive BraveHeart Weekend for your men's ministry at a location convenient for you.)
Registration: $149 per person and includes two nights lodging, 5 meals, field manual, and event materials (see below). Check back frequently for an updated schedule of the next event (the February 8-10, 2008 event was AWESOME!).
Plan on attending this exciting weekend and
recapture the masculine heart God has placed in you. Using movies that men love, our team will lead the worship and teaching times, and participate in all your "manly events."
